Community guidelines

Neighborify is a place for useful, first-hand local information. Everything below applies to questions, answers, recommendations, and submissions.

Do

  • Write from first-hand experience.
  • Be specific and useful: what, where, when, and why it matters.
  • Link to a source for practical or municipal information.
  • Correct yourself when something changes.

Don't

  • Post a resident's home address, phone number, or email.
  • Post harassment, hate speech, or threats.
  • Post fake reviews, paid recommendations presented as organic, or spam.
  • Claim a business you do not operate.

How moderation works

During launch, every community submission is reviewed by a moderator before it appears. You will see a pending status on anything you submit. Rejected items stay private and are not published. You can report anything that looks wrong.
